News from this Network (Jiani Luo) On the morning of May 14th, Professor Jingdong Chen of Northwestern Polytechnical University was invited to give an academic report entitled "Sound Signal Perception and Processing: Current Situation and Challenges" to teachers and students of the School of Information Engineering in the second Hall of Qihang Conference Center on Sanjiang Campus of our university. The Party Committee Standing Committee and Vice President of the university Yaoteng Gong, the President of the School of Information Engineering Shuxin Yang, Vice President Zhonghui Xu and Chundong Xu, some teachers and representative of postgraduates attended the meeting. This report is mainly aimed at undergraduate students of the School of Information Engineering, and also attracted some postgraduates. The report which was hosted by President Shuxin Yang, was held online and offline at the same time.
